Here It Goes Again..

There should be an entry before this (blog party last night) but since this one wouldn't take too much time writing, I better start with this. :p

Most of the times, our office elevator is really a pain in the @$$. Strong winds causes it to malfunction. Someone outside the elevator should put some pressure or shake the elevator door just to make it go up. We only have two elevators and now, the other one seem to have given up. So it takes forever for the working one to reach the ground floor.

Good thing we have a sort-of entertainment while waiting for the elevator. There's this lcd tv located in between the elevators. It shows mtv excerpts, ads, fun facts, trivia, and what have you.. One mtv excerpt that caught my eye is the one you'll see below. I am really wondering what the title and group that sang it but never really tried youtube-ing it. Then my friends told me it's title. Galing galing! Parang yung first lines pa parang Japanese words hehe..

I really love mtv's like this. :) Rhythmic, nicely choreographed and fun. I also like these old songs: Around the World by Daft Funk and Can't Get You Out of my Head by Kylie Minogue.

I know there are lots of mtvs with this kind of style but can't think of anything else. Care to share?

Chit Chats... Why Not?!

>> Tuesday, August 21, 2007

I noticed that most of the blogs I visit or hop to has a cbox. So one time, I planned on putting one on my site but somehow put it aside since I'm not that active in blogging before. Also, I'm someone kasi that don't leave messages, i'm just one of those who read and appreciate other's blog. I'm shy to leave a comment, shy to make friends online. Other times, I just don't have the time to comment due to work and other stuff.

I finally "decided" to be an active blogger a few months back, due to the influence of some friends and my officemate marhgil. After some time, I learned to little-by-little appreciate on not just being a lurker and be a bit bold enough to make friends online. I have visited many sites that made me too too fascinated and in awe. I realized that there are many pinoy bloggers who are really talented and articulate in writing. Nakakabilib!

I just started putting comments or messages on the blogsites that interest me. But, what actually made me decide to put a cbox? pinoyblogero's site. :) Aliw ako, dami tips hehehe..

So to those who read my blog (alam ko iilan lang kayo), chit-chat naman tayo! hahaha..

Bonding Moments..

Saturday: my very good friend Tin went back to Manila for a two-week vacation! Yeyey! At syempre meet agad kame. We met and ate (agad! haha) at McDo BF. Mon left us as il centro salon but unfortunately, they're just finishing the services for the customers inside. Chikahan ever pa kasi kami sa McDo eh hehe..

Tin and I hurried to Let's Face It for our planned foot spa and other pa-kikay but again, closed na. Good thing Going Straight Salon still accepts customers so Tin was able to have her haircut. ;) We then went to Ruins for more chikahan plus some shopping (si Tin lang ang nag-shopping hehehe). We just tried on some shades and we look a bit goofy hehe... Here are the pics:

We finally decided to call it a night since it's a bit late already. We'll be rescheduling our pa-kikay date some other time. hehehe.. Mon fetched me but we went to Shopwise to buy stuff for the house as well as our dear Jessie's dog food. I'm so happy that they are into contributing to saving Earth. They have introduced reusable shopping bags. To encourage customers and wise card holders, every purchase of the reusable bag will double the points of all items that can fit the bag. Nice. :)

I thought it will take a long time before this gear towards being Earth-friendly will be applied to our country. But it's here already. :) I hope other stores will be doing the same thing. This is a very good start, don't you think? :)

Sunday: I'm such a domesticated mama. My husband has work today so I just stayed home to take care of Jessie, cook, clean and do the laundry. I cooked his favorite Pinatisang Manok. Really easy to make so if wanna try it, you can send me a message for the recipe. I managed to take a picture of it sing my cellphone but it doesn't look mouth-watering. Swear sa actual, katakam-takam! Hahaha.. Feeling.. But actually, this really gives a sign for me to acquire a better digital camera, perhaps SLR camera (ahem ahem -- parinig kay Mon haha ;) .

Monday:
Since it's a holiday, Mon dropped me off to my parents house for a visit (their company requires them to work even on a holiday haaayyy). My nieces and I went out for our bonding session. Time flies so fast! My nieces are young ladies now. Nakakatuwa silang damitan so I bought them some clothes. Good to see that they enjoyed the day with me. Hehehe..

Mon fetched us as Landmark Makati then went back to my parents house. We stayed for a while. Had a chitchat with all of them and went home after more than an hour. Jessie needs to drink her medicine na kasi and we're pretty sure Jessie is waiting for us. hehehe..

Sarap talaga pag long weekend! :) Looking forward sa next long weekend which is actually this coming weekend pala ulet! Hehehe.. I'm now thinking of what Mon and I can do for this coming weekend. Kayo, what do you love to do on long weekends?

Our Dog's Miscarriage

>> Friday, August 17, 2007

*Sad* Our jumping dog, Jessie just had a miscarriage. We brought her at Dad's house for several days because we want Daddy to see that her tummy's really big. Yesterday, Dad saw a little pup beside Jessie, still covered with amniotic sac. Jessie doesn't want anyone to touch her pup so she brought it somewhere and then ate it. :( Mon then brought Jessie to our house since we are suspecting Jessie got stressed since daddy's dog, Doggie keep on harrassing her. Mon fetched me from work and when we got home, we saw another pup lying on the floor, still with sac. Probably Jessie doesn't know how to remove it but she certainly doesn't want us to touch her baby. :( When I attempted to come near the pup, she immediately went to her cage with her pup.

We let her rest and when Mon checked at 3am today, she still looks sad and sick. Mon is currently on his way home to bring Jessie to the vet. Tin and Cel told me that Jessie needs to be x-rayed to see if she still has pups in her womb. Hopefully alive 'cause if not, Jessie might get poisoned. :(

Huhuhu.. Naiiyak ako..

Alang Magawa...

>> Wednesday, August 15, 2007

Hehehe.. Scheduled pa kasi during lunch time yung tasks eh.. So for sure busy na sa afternoon. Share ko na lang that I had a dream (again) and aliw naman that the message is positive. Entire dream was about hearing me and someone else singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow... over and over.. I looked it up at dreammoods and it says:

Singing

To sing in your dream, represents happiness, harmony and joy in some situation or relationship. You are uplifting others with your positive attitude and cheerful disposition. Singing is a way to celebrate, communicate and express your feelings.

To hear someone sing in your dream, signifies emotional and spiritual fulfillment. You are changing your mood and experiencing a more positive outlook in life.

Wow, positive outlook! I hope it continues all the way. :) Think happy thoughts.. think happy thoughts.. think happy thoughts..

Anyways, Somewhere Over The Rainbow lyrics goes something like...

Now is the time to act

It is far easier to prepare for a storm when the skies are still clear. By the time dark clouds appear on the horizon, your options are drastically more limited and much less effective.

The surest way to make a task more difficult is to put it off until later. The cost of anything continues to rise the longer you take to pay for it.

Use this moment to create value instead of trying to borrow that value from the future. The sooner you make the effort, the more rewarding life will be.

A small precaution right now can help you avoid big problems later. The most reliable path to a great accomplishment is to start working on it as early as possible.

This is the moment when you can make a difference. So make full use of the opportunity that has come your way.

Do the difficult things while they are still easy. Right now is the time to act so as to get the highest return for your efforts.

Four groups were formed, red (go red!), blue, green and yellow. So now you know which group I belong hahaha... I've posted some pics. This will tell you how much fun we had. :)

You've Got Mail!

Tin forwarded this very hilarious email. Thought of sharing this to you. ;) Hopefully super matawa din kayo. The title is.... THE! (Che: What the?! hahaha...)

THE!

We' ve been friends for a long time ago. We come from the same alma mother. Actually, our paths crossed one time on another. But it's only now that I gave him a second look. I realized that beauty is in the eyes. The pulpbits of my heart went fast, really fast. Cute pala siya. And then, he came over with me. He said, "I hope you don't mine. Can I get your number?" Na! g-worry ako. What if he doesn't give it back? He explained naman na it's so we could keep intact daw. Sabi ko, connect me if i'm wrong but are you asking me ouch? Nabigla siya. Sagot niya, The! Aba! Parang siya pa ang galit! Persona ingrata!!! Ang kapal niya! I cried buckles of tears.

Na-guilty yata siya. Sabi niya, isipin mo na lang na this is a blessing in the sky. Irregardless daw of his feelings, we'll go ouch na rin. Now, we're so in love. Mute and epidemic na ang past. Thanks God we swallowed our fried. Kasi, I'm 33 na and I'm running our time. After 2 weeks, he plopped the question. "Will you marriage me?" I'm in a state of shocked. Kasi mantakin mo, when it rains, it's four! This is true good to be true. So siyempre, I said yes. Love is a many splendor.

Pero nung inaayos ko na ang aming kasal, everything swell to pieces. Nag-di-dinner kami noon nang biglang sa harap ng aming table, may babaeng humirit ng, "Well, well, well. Look do we! have here." What the fuss! The nerd ng babaeng yon! She said they wer e still on. So I told her, whatever is that, cut me some slacks! I didn't want this to get our hand kaya I had to sip it in the bud. She accused me of steeling her boyfriend. Ats if! I don't want to portrait the role of the other woman. Gosh, tell me to the marines! I told her, "please, mine you own business!" Who would believe her anyway?

Dahil it's not my problem anymore but her problem anymore, tumigil na rin siya ng panggugulo. Everything is coming up daisies. I'm so happy. Even my boyfriend said liketwice. He's so supportive. Sabi niya, "Look at is this way. She's our of our lives."

Kaya advise ko sa inyo - take the risk. You can never can tell. Just burn the bridge when you get there. Life is shorts. If you make a mistake, we'll just pray for the internal and external repose of your soul. I second emotion.

Recapture Your Youth

>> Thursday, August 9, 2007

I was browsing the Good Housekeeping website and found this interesting article. I would probably try doing it this weekend. Anyways, read on (and try it too) :)

Three Ways to Recapture the Girl You Used to Be
By Barbara Sher

The life you want is probably the life you have -- but with the best of your younger days added in. How do you revive the "you that you used to be"? By looking back at the things in your life that once gave you pleasure. To get started, do the easy exercises below.

1) Think about a small object or article of clothing you've kept over the years. Write down three things that you associate with it. Let's say the object you have in mind is a vase that you picked up at a gallery in Santa Fe when you were driving across the country with your senior-year roommate.

Close your eyes and think. Then write. You may find that you've jotted down "college pottery class," "time with girlfriend," and "figuring out how to read a map."

2) On the same page, write down at least three things you enjoyed doing when you were a child. Then write at least three more activities you enjoyed as a teen, and another three from your days as a young adult. These can be big or little things, solo or group undertakings. Don't censor yourself; sometimes the silliest-sounding items can open a rich path of association.

3) Add anything you've tried and liked as an adult but just haven't found time for in a while. You should have a list of at least 12 activities, maybe even 20 or more. Now comes the fun part: Do everything on the list -- once. Do only one thing a week if you like, but don't stop until you've done every single thing. Ride a bike. Sing a song. Write a song. Read under the piano. Travel -- if not cross-country, then to a town or neighborhood you've never visited.

Okay, you can probably think of a million stumbling blocks to getting started, so here's my advice: Stop thinking! If you feel you have no time, try dropping your most hated chore from your to-do list. Or maybe you think you're too old. We're all traumatized by birthdays. But think of how foolish you will feel at 60, 70, or 80 if you thought 30, 40, or 50 was "too old."

Why should small actions like the ones you've listed be such a big deal? Because they will wake up the senses that filled your life when you were in your most creative years. You'll learn -- or remember -- how powerful it is to do even the simplest thing you love, instead of just thinking, talking, or writing about it.

-- Barbara Sher is the author of It's Only Too Late If You Don't Start Now

All-Pinoy Breakfast

>> Tuesday, August 7, 2007

Warning: Yung mga out-of-the-country jan, wala pong intensyon na mainggit... Hehehe...

This entry actually happened a week ago but still want to blog about it since I want to post my cooking escapades hehehe... I fixed an all-pinoy breakfast for Mon and me. TOSILOG! Yes, tocino-sinangag-itlog with matching coffee and hot chocolate. I missed my elementary and high school days where it is raining so hard and classes have been cancelled. My brothers and Nanay Malou will be eating the all-pinoy-breakfast together.

Anyways, here are some pics. Hindi nga lang yata ganun katakam-takam yung itsura (pero naubos namin ni Mon hehehe...). Lagi lang akong palpak talaga sa first sunny-side-up egg kasi either sobrang luto yung yolk or nabutas ko sya.. hehehe.. More practice lang cguro. :D Feast on!

Guess Who's Pregnant????

Not me! hahaha... it's our jumping dog, Jessie. Her two week stay with Doggie (father-in-law's dog) paid off! Jessie stayed there last week of June and first week of July, count three months (3mos pregnancy lang daw ang dogs) and she'll have babies by end of September or early October. Yeyeyeyyy!!!

We have been observing her after she returned to our house. Please check this entry for backgrounder. Now, she's eating like a horse. We see to it that we gave her more than enough food since there are creatures in her tummy that needs nourishment. :) These are her pics a week ago. Her tummy looks a bit small but her upper tummy is bigger than the usual.

We are really excited to see the outcome of a pure bred pinscher and a half-askal breed (Dad told us Doggie seems to be a combi of askal and something breed since his paws and hair is finer than regular askals). Sana cute puppies! :D
